Terms and Condition for accommodation during the NiMSA Games at Unilag

1. ACCOMMODATION PROVISION
  • Accommodation will be provided on the UNILAG main campus, Akoka, for the duration of the NiMSA Games.
  • Students will be assigned rooms on a shared basis. Room assignments are final and non-negotiable.
2. CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT
  • Check-in begins at [insert start date and time].
  • Check-out must be completed by [insert end date and time].
  • Late check-out will not be permitted and may incur additional charges.
3. IDENTIFICATION
  • Students must carry their valid student ID cards at all times.
  • Identification must be presented upon request by UNILAG staff or security personnel.
4. CONDUCT
  • All students are expected to behave responsibly and respectfully towards fellow students, staff, and UNILAG property.
  • Any form of harassment, violence, or illegal activities will not be tolerated and will result in immediate expulsion from the accommodation and the Games.
  • Any form of violence towards the LOC, executives, fellow athletes, sports personnel, fellow members, security personnel, or any individual will result in detention in the security post or immediate expulsion from the Games.
  • Any form of cheating will result in immediate expulsion from the Games.
  • Providing wrong information for the Games will result in immediate expulsion.
5. CURFEW
  • A curfew of 11:00 PM will be enforced. All students must be within their accommodations by this time.
  • Exceptions to the curfew will only be allowed for official NiMSA Games activities.
6. CAMPUS BOUNDARIES
  • Students are required to stay within the designated areas of the UNILAG campus.
  • UNILAG will not be held responsible for any incidents, injuries, or losses that occur outside the campus boundaries.
7. SECURITY
  • UNILAG security personnel will be on duty 24/7 to ensure the safety and security of all participants.
  • Students are encouraged to report any suspicious activities or security concerns to the nearest security officer.
8. MEDICAL EMERGENCIES
  • Basic first aid and medical assistance will be available on-site.
  • Students are responsible for informing the organizers of any pre-existing medical conditions.
9. LOSS OR DAMAGE OF PERSONAL PROPERTY
  • UNILAG is not responsible for any loss or damage to personal property.
  • Students are advised to take care of their belongings and not leave valuables unattended.
10. DAMAGES TO PROPERTY
  • Students will be held financially responsible for any damage they cause to UNILAG property.
  • Costs for repairs or replacements will be charged to the responsible student(s).
11. NOISE LEVELS
  • Students are expected to maintain reasonable noise levels, especially during nighttime hours, to avoid disturbing others.
12. ALCOHOL AND SUBSTANCE USE
  • The consumption of alcohol and the use of illegal substances are strictly prohibited within the accommodation and on campus.
  • Violators will face immediate expulsion and may be reported to their respective institutions.
13. RESPONSIBILITY CLAUSE
  • Students leaving the campus premises do so at their own risk.
  • UNILAG will not be held liable for any incidents, injuries, or losses that occur off-campus.
14. ISSUE REPORTING
  • Any issues or concerns that residents have should be reported to the Local Organizing Committee (LOC), which will handle them and escalate to the university authorities if necessary.
  • Failure to report issues through the proper channels may result in consequences.
15. COMPLIANCE WITH UNIVERSITY REGULATIONS
  • Students must adhere to all UNILAG rules and regulations during their stay.
  • Failure to comply with these terms and conditions will result in disciplinary action, including expulsion from the accommodation and the Games.
16. AGREEMENT
  • By accepting the accommodation, students agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
  • Any disputes arising from these terms and conditions will be resolved by the NiMSA Games organizing committee in conjunction with UNILAG authorities.
